We are currently hiring for the a variety of roles for the 2026 Season! Click the links below to see if your skills match what we are looking for in the following roles:
For our 2024 summer season our staff would be required to start on June 19, 2026 and finish on August 28, 2026. Some positions require 2-3 days of additional training before June 19.
A typical Staff Daily Routine. While looking at this you can see what would happen on most days. As a counsellor you would be responsible for waking your campers up in the morning, getting them to meals, running activities during activity periods, running or being a part of our evening programs and putting your campers to bed at night. All while being a guide, role model and support to the campers in your cabin or tent.
All Staff receive nine days off throughout the summer (1 per week of camp) and an additional three days off during our July and August Sessions (July 22, 2026- July 25, 2026).
Living accommodations for staff are very similar to our campers. Counsellors of cabins over 13 years of age live in staff accommodations with one or more roommates depending on cabin size. Counsellors of campers under 13 years of age, live in a divided staff section of the cabin under the same roof as their campers. All non-counselling staff live in staff accommodations with one roommate. All of these accommodations have shelving and a single bunk bed. All staff are responsible for bringing their own bedding to camp.
We run an extensive Staff Training to make sure all of our staff are confident and have all the skills required for a great summer. Starting over a week before campers arrive, our staff team comes together at camp to learn everything from water safety & emergency procedures to activity training & lesson plans to every day camper management skills like dealing with homesickness or bullying. This week is an amazing bonding time for our staff team and ensures even first-time counsellors are ready to help lead campers effectively through the summer.
Our camp structure ensures you always have the support you need whether you are managing a challenging situation or just having a tough day.
All applicants must be 18 by December 31, 2026, and have previous experience working with children. All counselling staff and canoe trippers must have a minimum of a Bronze Cross Lifesaving certification by the time they arrive at camp. All activity specialists, nursing staff and other specialist staff must have experience in their related fields. Additional qualifications are required for several specialist roles.
