Duncan Robertson
Camp Director
Duncan has spent more than 40 years at camp—as a camper, staff member, and 25 years director of Onondaga Camp. He knows the ins and outs of camp life. He’s been active in the wider camping community, including five years on the Ontario Camps Association Board, President of the Society of Camp Directors, and the Board of the Amici Camping Charity.
He is joined by fellow owners and a dedicated Board of Directors—David Hadden, David Lever, and Michael Moore—each of whom has also led the camp, bringing experience, continuity, and a love for what we do.

Aubrie Allen
Assistant Director - Program
Aubrie’s camp journey began in 2006 as a 7-year-old Jinci Girl! Since then, she’s spent eight summers on staff, doing it all—from counsellor to directing the LIT program. As Assistant Director - Program, Aubrie oversees every activity and program at camp, making sure daily activities, evening programs, canoe trips, and the Onondaga Camp Games are always unforgettable.
Always on the move, Aubrie has worked at nearly every activity at camp.

GEN SIMONE
Assistant Director - Camp Life
Gen is heading into her 17th summer at Onondaga! She makes sure every camper in our Jinci, Bantam, and Inter sections has an incredible experience, while keeping families connected and informed back home.
Over the years, Gen has been a camper, counsellor, Inter Section Head, and LIT Director (alongside Gavin!). She brings all of her experience, along with a Masters in Psychotherapy, to her role as Assistant Director - Camp Life.

GAVIN HULL
Assistant Director - Camp Life
Gavin’s Onondaga journey began in 2011 as a Senior Boy, and since then he’s taken on nearly every role at camp—from counsellor and Bantam Section Head to running the LIT program (with Gen!) and serving as Assistant Director overseeing all programs for five years.
He is responsible for the experience of all our older campers—Seniors and Super Seniors—as well as everyone in our LIT program.
He’s passionate about fostering mentorship, building strong community, and making sure campers feel supported and inspired.

GRAHAM MACLELLAN
Assistant Director - Staff Life
Graham’s camp journey started in 2003 as a Senior Boy at Onondaga. Over the past 18 years, he’s held many roles—from counsellor to Bantam Section Head, LIT Director, and Program Director.
After exploring other overnight camps across Canada for a few years, Graham returned to Onondaga in 2019 as Assistant Director - Staff Life.
He leads hiring, training, and supports the team throughout the summer, helping everyone bring their best to camp life.

SAM BUTCHER
Associate Director - Operations
Sam has been part of the Onondaga family for an incredible 25 years! With over 30 years of experience in overnight camping, there’s truly nothing she can’t handle.
She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa.
Sam has also been deeply involved with the Ontario Camps Association, serving as Vice President of the Board and contributing to many other committees over the years.
At camp, Sam oversees the office and health centre teams, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure Onondaga is at its best all year long.

Blayne Saunders
Site Manager
Blayne Saunders joined the Onondaga Camp maintenance team in 2004! Since then, Blayne has been the glue, nails & screws that has held camp together (literally). Blayne works year-round at camp to ensure everything is ready to go for when our campers and staff arrive. In more than 20 years at camp, there is yet to be something at camp that Blayne can’t fix and his daily dedication to camp is the reason everyone else gets to enjoy camp every day..

Matt Brown
Assistant Site Manager
Matt Brown has always been a camp guy – even when he’s not at camp. Using his background as a camp staff, outdoor instructor and maintenance staff, Matt joined Onondaga Camp in 2016 as our Site Manager. Because of his experience is so many different roles, Matt knows the ins and outs of everything camp related. From making our camp games shields to fixing canoes, Matt brings his incredible energy to camp every day while managing our team of maintenance staff..
